Highly visible Red bin with a Clear lid keeps contents visible while differentiating high-risk insulin from other medications and supplies.
Requires two action steps when retrieving insulin: first reading the warning labels on the outside of the bin, then lifting the lid to access the medication.
Includes one Stop Potential Error Double Check label and two High Alert Insulin labels to encourage staff to stop, read and verify insulin before use.
Helps draw attention to insulin products with similar names, packaging or labelling that could otherwise contribute to medication errors.
Accommodates a sleeve of up to 10 individually packaged insulin vials from major insulin manufacturers.
Additional labels, bin colours and customised label options are available separately.
Due to the fitted lid, this bin is not compatible with #1968 dividers.
